Hi everyone,
Yepp I had quite a weird birthday! I'm very rarely not well, but yesterday I was running a high fever, and slept for 13 hours after work! Feel much better today though, but still pretty knocked about.
My Sat night was pretty quiet - I ended up having Thai dinner at this incredibly pink restaurant with a few friends, then met another couple of friends at O'Neils. After that I met up with another set of friends and went to the Akbar, then nearly joined another set of friends at this nightclub (but £15 to get in was a bit steep!) - so twas quite a disjointed night but it was OK.
My new house is really nice - I'm living with English people (like, wow!). Beth, Lee, Phil and Sarah. I'll have to take some photos - I have this nice bay window, my own fireplace with a carved wooden mantlepiece and tons of storage space. I have tons of housey stuff to buy now - I need basics like a clothes basket and dryer, as well as some decorative stuff - some lamps maybe? Saw all this celtic stuff at Embankment at the end of the St Pat's day march on Sunday - not sure if I should celtify my room! Will have to think abt it!
OK. Time to go and buy my recess-time donut :-). Catchya soon!

We all had a fantastic time when Liz and Jim came out to Adelaide. its a pitty you were not with us in Adelaide. Anyway hope your having a fantastic time over where you are. We hope you can catch up with Liz and Jim. Elsie, Mina, Iain Isobell, all say hi.
