Haha
My barbershop number is tonight! The whole show (The School's annual cabaret "Fascinating Rhythms") starts in about 35 minutes, but we're in the 3rd (and final) set - maybe performing around 9:45-ish. In a sec I have to zip down to the staff room, grab a vest and bow tie, and do the hair gel thingy.
So I'm the Bass (of course :-) ) Which is kewl in Barbershop cos it means that I get to sing snippets on my own. But not really - will have to push for something with a good bass solo! Seems like we will keep rehearsing numbers!
Yepp from highest to lowest, the group is Clark the Kiwi from Science, Dr Jerry who is Science HOD (so Clark is singing with his boss!), John from Music and mwa.
Will have to post some piccies of the performance! I'm sure there'll be some! That reminds me - will have to post some snaps of me and Candace. She's back from Scotland on Friday for a nice Valentines day dinner, and then staying two more days before heading back to France... Sob! :-(
OK, maybe I'll put one pic of Candace up here for you. Here's a shot from Rome... :-)
Catchya Later!
Posted by Sam at February 13, 2003 03:02 AMgood for you Sam. You are keeping up the family tradition of performing. No doubt you would have done better than your old Pa. By the way did you know that your great grandfather Reg Matthew performed in England when he was over there during WW1. Gran likes the Photo of Candace, Me too. Say G'day from us to her at the weekend.
Love Gran & Pa.
