Bridges in Luxembourg are kewl!
LuxView
The bridge over the water is *really* old. I was trying to go down and walk on it, but I couldn't find out how to! It's really strange to have to think in 3D just to walk around a city!

Interlaken, Switzerland
InterValley
The valley between Laudebrunnen and Stechelburg. It was an approx 1hr walk along before we started climbing.
Alps
The view from the first walk I did in Interlaken.
MurenHotel
I'm really not used to snow covered roofs! There were tons of cute buildings... this one seemed a lil stereotypical... :-)
OnHarderKulm
Looking down on one of the lakes and at the town of Interlaken.

Chinque Terre, Italy
ChinqueTown
Umm... can't remember what town it was! I think it was the next one along from Manorola (where I was staying) or the one after. hrmm?? Will have to look at the names of the towns again and figure it out!

Florence, Italy
Capoeira
At the marathon after party! The guys were really good!

I have to join a couple of photos together so you can see the whole panorama. It was a really nice spot.

Haha trying to be a lil artsy. Shame that the car was at the bottom. The view is out of the hostel room window.
Heisman
What a strange statue! The Heisman(n?) is some grid iron award, Jason who I was with on the day reckoned that the fat guy was doing a heismann... imagine the ball under his elbow...

Hi Sam - Ben and Sarah came over to see me today for a "cuppa" - and Ben gave me your website which I have been viewing for the past 3/4 hour!!

What a holiday you are having - grat stuff!

Sorry I didn't get to farewell you before you left. You are certainly doing heaps of interesting stuff - and seeing marvellous places - and no doubt meeting dozens of fascinating people.

I was interested to read about Taormina which I visited on my trip in April-May this year. Also Etna and Venice and Florence etc. So I was very ingterested in what your comments were about these places. Taormina is a pretty place and there is an international film festival there each year or every 2 years or so (don't really know how often, to be truthful!0 all I know is that they were preparing for it whilst we were there - putting scaffolding-type seating in the Greek amphitheatre. Then, not long after I returned to Perth in June I read that the film festival was taking place and the big name stars etc were there from America and England. It's kind of like a lesser Cannes festival apparently.

I loved Venice, and unlike you, I DID but some Murano glass items (beautiful indeed but I could only afford tiny pieces (both for financial AND luggage considerations).

Reading about the places in Italy makes me want ot return - and soon!

I look forward to reading more about your travels from time to time - when I can find the time to look at some more of your photos (I only looked at about 6 of them tonight!)

Take care of yourself but mainly I advise you to continue to ENJOY the wonderful experiences which world travel offers. Lucky you!!!

Ciao for now Barbara
