Hello! Some Berlin photos. I have free internet access here, but not much software... I've had to improvise quickly... these places don't normally like you installing software! I think I might have compressed the photos a lil too much. Just remember that I have double resolution versions with me if you really want better quality.

... let's start with the most famous landmark!
The Berlin Wall
Underneath, are some WWII trenches they've dug up. There's an exhibit on there - Topology of Terror. Didn't get time to see it though. There was so much to do in Berlin!
TV Tower
Communists seem to love building huge, ugly structures. This tower dominates the skyline. We went up for a while, and ate in the revolving restaurant.
View toward West Berlin from the tower
If you look closely, you might be able to make out the brandenburg gate. It's just before the big park. The "Bitch on the horse" is on the gate, and the "bitch on the stick" is down the road, in the middle of the park. Gee, colourful tour guides are interesting, cept its hard to forget their names for things!! There is also the Museum Island in the foreground. The big building with the copper roof is some cathedral, next to it is the altes museum that I visited (the photos are still in my camera, not on CD yet... be patient!) and the Pergammon musum is also there, a bit to the right, in a u-shaped building.
View toward East Berlin from the tower
Mainly here to show you the donut shaped east berlin architecture. The sun had just come out too :-)
Soviet Tank
The first two soviet tanks to enter Berlin in WWII are on display at this memorial.
Berliners
From L: Dave, Alex and Nina. I stayed with Dave for a couple of days, and we visited his friends Alex and Nina.
Brandenburg Gate
The only remaining original gate to Berlin.
The Reichsdag is the parliament building in Berlin. Here's a few assorted photos.
