I'm still in Berlin!
I spent a couple of days at the Circus, before calling Dave. He's just gone and got his phone sorted out ;-) so he was interesting to track down... but glad I did! For last night and tonight I'll be at his place in Mobit, just a 10 or 15 min train ride from the centre of Berlin. Yesterday, we went to the "Jewish Museum Berlin", and walked around for 5 hours! Yeah perhaps a bit too long... but it was pretty informative... we were even told off by the museum lady for making too much noise inside this modern-ish exhibit thing.... Dave just said it was called the "tower of silence"... oops!
Ohh the night before I went to this club eimer?? It was in this old east german building... graffiti everywhere, tons of artwork made from assorted odds and ends... it's supposedly a "Cyber Punk" place... seemed very not touristy, which is how some of the other underground places are ending up. The ceiling of the ground floor has been removed, so that the DJ is on the 1st floor and looks through a hole in the floor to the dancefloor! There was all dirt on the floor, and this dog nawing on this cushion... crazy german guys with really deep voices... ohh there was also a bongo guy playing along with the DJ! Kewl stuff... very strange though!
Anyway... must go... only a short entry today!
Stay warm ppl... or in most of your cases, stay kewl!
:-)

Sounds like you've been all over the continent since you got off the train at Salzburg! I've been home about 3 weeks now and am still trying to get used to not being on the move all the time. Clean showers, cheap internet, and free laundry are nice though. Hope you enjoy the rest of your travels!
