Only 10 mins net access left (free though!) so I must be quick!
Stockholm is really kewl... been bargain hunting today!
I'm staying on this boat!!! It's called "af Chapman" and was built in 1888... Is really impressive! Will have to send a piccy of it when I get a chance.
Today I walked around to where the ferries to Finland leave from. First I asked the price and they said 333Kr... each way... which was a bit expensive. Then I remembered I get discount with my railpass... and they said 171Kr... which was better... then I showed that I had a Eurail... and she said it was 134Kr (she thought I had a ScanRail pass)... and then I found out that the railpass price was return, not just one way! So... that means... I'm going to Finland on this really nice, huge ferry... and have 2 nights accomodation... for about $15AUD each way! *grinz* it's so nice something being cheap for a change! By comparison, I'm paying 150Kr each night to stay on the boat.
I caught a metro back to the centre, and found out that I can get back to Berlin in one travel day and arrive quite early! So the plan is, tomorrow 5pm to finland, arrive thurs 9:30am, stay till Sunday 5pm and come back here by 9:30, maybe hang around here 1 or 2 more days and then catch an 11pm train from here, travel most of the next day and arrive in Berlin before 4pm!
Phew 3 mins... in addition I ate tons of chinese food in this buffet and bought some second hand books... and got free net access!
